As investigators continue to search for the cause of a natural gas pipeline explosion in the San Francisco suburb of San Bruno last week, which triggered a deadly fire in a residential neighborhood, images showing the scope of the disaster have been posted online.
As Queena Kim pointed out on the Bay Citizen blog, Mike Pegg, the founder of Google Maps Mania, created a striking comparison of one street before and after the explosion.

On Googles official blog, Laszlo Bock noted that updated satellite imagery of the neighborhood is available for Google Earth.
